Well-being in wool
Snuggle down and relax in the warm embrace of wool. The new seasonal basics are a welcome extension of my timeless collections.
Fashioned in the finest cashmere, a chic oversized cardigan and a lovely square-cut shawl, large but lightweight, are ideal companions to guard against cool evenings and chill winds at any time of the year. My passion for colours gets free rein in these gorgeous items which are hand-crafted in fabulous combinations by a Tibetan family business in Kathmandu. They have practised their craft as wool dealers and dyers for generations. The knitting machines are operated by men; the precision work is the pride of the women. This friendly, family-run business with sociable working conditions and its Nepalese team are helping to drive the reconstruction of the country following last year's catastrophic earthquake.
A second highlight of the season awaits you. My coats in finest Austrian loden are richly elegant, cosy blankets, reaching to calf- and ankle-length. In black, chocolate brown and midnight blue, they have an ingeniously generous cut and fetching stand-up collar that will help fend off the wind and weather.
An addition to the structured microfibre programme is a flattering short-skirted dress that comes in all sizes. And needless to say the wide range of well-loved basics my label offers are available to combine to your heart's delight.
Let's give a warm welcome to the fall-winter season. The nouveautés are waiting for you.
I look forward to seeing you.
